Ride Velo (“RideVelo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the RideVelo Driver mobile application (the “App”) to support driver onboarding, account verification, ride management, navigation, and related driver services.   • Driver profile information you submit, such as your name and other onboarding details

B. Driver and vehicle verification information

  • Insurance details and images
  • Other driver, vehicle, or compliance documents you choose to upload through the App

C. Location information

  • Precise location data
  • Approximate location data
  • Background location data when the App is closed or not in active use, where enabled by your device permissions and applicable law

We use location data to support driver availability, ride matching, trip operations, navigation, safety, and related service functionality.

D. Activity and ride-operation information

  • Ride status and trip-related information
  • Driver availability status
  • Activity recognition data, where supported by the device and permissions granted

E. Device and technical information

  • Device identifiers
  • App version
  • Operating system information
  • Log, diagnostic, and crash information
  • Push notification token(s), including Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token(s)

F. Media and camera access

  • Camera access, if you choose to take photos directly in the App for profile, license, registration, insurance, or other document uploads
  • Photos selected from your device gallery, if you choose to upload existing images

  • Create and manage your driver account
  • Verify your identity, driver eligibility, and submitted documents
  • Authenticate your login through phone number and OTP verification
  • Match you with ride opportunities and manage ride workflows
  • Provide navigation, mapping, and trip support features
  • Show your current driver status and support location-based driver operations
  • Send service-related alerts, including ride notifications, verification updates, and operational messages
  • Maintain safety, prevent fraud, investigate misuse, and enforce our terms
  • Improve app reliability, troubleshoot errors, and analyze performance

Permissions Used by the App

Depending on your device, Android version, and how you use the App, the App may request permissions such as:

  • Camera to capture profile and document images
  • Photos/media/storage access to upload images from your device
  • Precise and approximate location to support ride, matching, and navigation features
  • Background location to support driver operations even when the App is not in active use
  • Activity recognition to support certain mobility or trip-related functions
  • Notifications to send operational and ride-related alerts

You can manage some permissions in your device settings. If you deny certain permissions, some App features may not work properly.

We do not sell your personal information.

  • Service providers and infrastructure partners that help us operate the App and related services
  • Cloud, authentication, storage, analytics, crash reporting, messaging, mapping, and navigation providers
